Chapter announces new slate of officers, board of governors
CLEVELAND – The Central Great Lakes Chapter of NATAS is proud to announce our chapter’s newly-elected slate of officers and governors for the coming year.
The board has elected Megan Simpson (WTHR) to serve as our next chapter president, with Jonathan Walsh (WEWS) elected as Ohio VP and Phil Hoffman (Ball State University) elected as Indiana VP.
Kelly Salandro (WKYC) was elected to serve as our next secretary, and Carl Monday was re-elected to serve a second term as treasurer.
This year, five incumbent governors were re-elected to the board by our membership:
Phil Hoffman (Ball State University), Joseph Koskovics (chapter parliamentarian), Carl Monday (Incumbent treasurer), Megan Simpson (WTHR) and Tiffany Tarpley (WEWS)
And here are this year’s newly-elected governors, listed in alphabetical order:
- Cynthia Booker, High School Media Teacher, Cleveland
- David McElhatten, Rock Entertainment Sports/ Cavs
- Cassandra Nist, WOIO-TV Executive Producer
- Cierra Putman, WTHR-TV Investigative Reporter
- Silas Tsang, WTOL-TV Investigative Producer
The new officers and governors will begin serving on our board in July.
